Job Description: Procurement Manager/ Sr Manager Cell Line Utility Packages Job Summary: The Procurement Manager for Cell Line Utility Packages will be responsible for managing the procurement of utility packages and systems required for cell line manufacturing operations. This role involves vendor management, cost optimization, contract negotiation, and ensuring a seamless supply chain to support the infrastructure and utility needs of the facility. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement procurement strategies for utility packages such as HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, and other essential utilities for cell manufacturing. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best pricing and service levels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, finance, and quality assurance, to align procurement activities with project and operational objectives. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of utility packages to prevent operational disruptions. Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic reviews to maintain quality and service levels. Drive cost-saving initiatives and identify areas for process improvement in procurement operations. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and sustainability requirements. Manage procurement data, track spending, and generate reports for management review. Stay updated with market trends, emerging technologies, and supplier innovations in the renewable energy and cell manufacturing sector. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree (MBA) is preferred. 12-16 years of experience in procurement, preferably in cell manufacturing, utilities, electronics, or renewable energy sectors. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and cost optimization strategies. Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
