Job Description

Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the acquisition of all goods and services needed for the operations, including classroom supplies, equipment, food, maintenance services, and technology, by strategically sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality while adhering to policies and budget constraints. Person is also responsible for overseeing all the processes involved in acquiring the products, materials, goods and services needed for efficient business operations. Location - Bangalore Responsibilities Sourcing and vendor management: Identify potential suppliers through market research and vendor evaluation. Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors, ensuring timely deliveries and competitive pricing. Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure the best terms and conditions for the company. Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers to assess quality and compliance. Budgeting and cost control: Develop and manage the procurement budget, ensuring spending aligns with allocated funds. Analyze spending trends and identify opportunities for cost savings. Implement cost-saving strategies such as bulk purchasing or negotiating volume discounts. Procurement process management: Establish clear procurement guidelines and policies, including purchase order procedures. o Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate orders. o Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking or shortages. Collaboration and communication: Work closely with administrators and other department heads to understand their procurement needs. Coordinating with design, legal, finance, IT, etc teams for smooth opening of new / existing centres.
