The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and a keen understanding of the construction industry’s procurement processes. Key Responsibilities Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for building materials, construction materials, and mechanical components. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project managers to forecast procurement needs. Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project schedules. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives. Stay updated on industry trends and new products to make informed purchasing decisions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure specifications and quality standards are met. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in procurement within the building materials, construction, or mechanical components industry. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
