Role Summary: The Product Development Incharge will be responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end development process of garments from design concept to production-ready samples. This role bridges design, sourcing, and production to ensure timely execution, quality alignment, and commercial viability. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Product Lifecycle Management Oversee the entire product development cycle—from proto sampling to final approvals. Ensure all samples meet design intent, fit standards, and quality benchmarks. Maintain updated product development trackers and calendars. ✅ Coordination Across Teams Liaise between design, sourcing, merchandising, and production teams to ensure on-time sample delivery. Communicate clearly with vendors/factories regarding tech packs, changes, and approvals. Align with CAD and pattern teams for corrections and technical feasibility. ✅ Fabric & Trim Execution Coordinate fabric, trims, and wash approvals in alignment with seasonal direction. Follow up with fabric mills, vendors, and sourcing for timely procurement and development closures. ✅ Fit & Quality Oversight Attend all fit sessions and track corrections with CAD/pattern teams. Ensure all samples follow size specs and are production viable. ✅ Documentation & Reporting Maintain BOMs, tech packs, and sample records in coordination with the design and sourcing team. Share daily/weekly progress updates with the Design Manager and escalate risks proactively. Skills & Requirements: 6-7 years of experience in product development in the fashion/apparel industry Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and trims Proficient in Excel, product trackers, and basic understanding of PLM (if applicable) Ability to manage timelines, follow up proactively, and work cross-functionally Detail-oriented, organized, and solution-focused 1. Software proficiency- Excel, power point 2. Complete knowledge of product development process 3. Strong organizational skills 4. Excellent in time management & follow ups. 5. Knowledge of fabrics, techniques, prints, embroidery & embellishment processes. 1. Ability to work with team & manage multiple tasks. 2. Must be committed to career and have commercial awareness. 3.
