Product Engineering Manager

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of highly talented product engineers, designers, and other relevant professionals in the design, develop, and maintenance of highly scalable systems using Java, React, SQL & NOSQL Databases, etc. Ensure the technical execution is of the highest order with adoption of industry leading best practices. Bring in the right focus into write, review, and deploy code to deliver product features, reduce technical debt, and improve software architecture, reliability, and performance.. Work closely with product managers to turn user stories and feature requests into technical requirements and ensure a consistent approach to building, testing, and release of all work. Collaborate with product managers and developers to deliver software solutions, enhance system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and conduct code reviews. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources. Oversee the entire product development process, from ideation to launch and beyond on the technical side. Ensure that products meet quality standards and customer expectations. Conduct thorough testing and analysis to identify and resolve issues. Work closely with product managers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and success. Communicate product plans and progress effectively to all relevant parties. Represent the product team in meetings and presentations. Possess a strong technical background and understanding of relevant technologies and methodologies. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
