Production Coordinator

Job Description

Location: Vile Parle, Mumbai. Department: Production / Operations Reports To: Production Manager / Operations Head Key Responsibilities: Coordinate daily production and ensure timely order completion. Allocate tasks to karigars, setters, polishers, etc. Track progress through all stagescasting to QC. Maintain production reports and update job statuses. Communicate with design, purchase, and sales teams. Ensure raw material availability (gold, diamonds, gemstones). Coordinate with QC for final product approval. Manage job cards, inventory logs, and challans. Liaise with vendors for hallmarking, plating, CAD, etc. Identify and resolve production delays or bottlenecks. Requirements: Bachelor’s/diploma in Production, Jewellery Design, or related field. 2–4 years of experience in jewellery production coordination. Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes. Proficient in Excel, ERP, or production software. Good communication and multitasking abilities. Preferred: Experience in handmade and machine-made jewellery. Knowledge of gold purity, weight tracking, and loss control.
