Job Description

Role & responsibilities Monitor and adjust production plans to accommodate changes in demand, delays, or unexpected issues, Plan, coordinate, and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality Implement lean manufacturing techniques (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) to improve productivity. Work with the quality control team to address any quality issues promptly and take corrective actions Lead the investigation into production delays, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent future occurrences Schedule shifts and manage labor resources to align with production requirements Oversee the management of raw materials, tools, and other production materials to ensure availability when needed, Coordinate with procurement teams to maintain adequate stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking Work with maintenance teams to schedule regular equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs Analyze production costs and report on financial performance to management Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production efficiency, downtime, yield, and throughput Familiarity with manufacturing software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, production management tools) Excellent communication skills to coordinate with different departments and keep all stakeholders informed Preferred candidate profile
