Job Title: Production Head Solar Pumps, Motors & Monoblock Pumps Position: Production Head Experience: 9 to 10 years Company: SOLARTIVE Techno Industries Greate Noida. Location: Ecotec I, Extension I Greater Noida 201310 Department: Production/Manufacturing Industry: Manufacturer of Solar Submersible and Monoblock Pumps. Reporting To: Operations Head/General Manager/Director. Job Summary: The Production Head will oversee the manufacturing of solar pumps, motors, and monoblock pumps, ensuring high-quality output, process efficiency, and cost control. This role requires expertise in electromechanical assembly, motor manufacturing, quality control, and lean production processes. The candidate will lead production teams, optimize processes, and ensure timely delivery of products as per company goals. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: 1. Production Planning & Process Optimization: Develop and execute production schedules for solar pumps, motors, and Monoblock pumps. Optimize machine utilization, workforce allocation, and material flow. Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma to improve efficiency. 2. Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all products meet BIS, ISO, IEC, and MNRE standards. Conduct root cause analysis for defects and ensure corrective actions. Maintain testing and inspection procedures for motors, pumps, and electronic components. 3. Team Leadership & Workforce Management: Supervise and train assembly line workers, quality engineers, and supervisors. Ensure a safe and productive work environment with adherence to safety protocols. Monitor worker performance and suggest upskilling programs. 4. Cost Management & Efficiency Enhancement: Control production costs, minimize material wastage, and improve yield. Identify cost-saving initiatives in motor winding, stator-rotor assembly, and casting processes. Work closely with the procurement team to ensure cost-effective sourcing. 5. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics to ensure raw material availability. Monitor inventory levels for motors, impellers, shafts, and electrical components. Reduce production downtime due to supply chain disruptions. 6. Technology & Innovation: Stay updated with advancements in BLDC motor technology, solar pump controllers, and high-efficiency Monoblock designs. Drive automation initiatives to improve manufacturing speed and precision. Implement IoT-based monitoring for production efficiency tracking. 7. Reporting & Coordination: Generate reports on production output, efficiency, defect rates, and downtime. Work closely with R&D, Sales, and Maintenance teams to improve product designs and manufacturability. Present performance updates to senior management and recommend improvements. ________________________________________ Key Requirements: Education: BTech/MTech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. Experience: 9-10 years in solar pumps, motor manufacturing, or monoblock pump production. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of motor design, winding, and assembly processes. Experience in casting, machining, and component testing for pumps and motors. Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Understanding of solar power electronics and controller integration. Soft Skills: Leadership and team management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
