Job Title: Production Manager Fabrication Location: Pune Experience: 8-10 Years Industry Preference: Boiler Manufacturing (Preferred) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Production Manager Fabrication to oversee and manage the fabrication process in our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of experience , preferably in boiler manufacturing , and possess strong leadership and technical skills to ensure efficient production operations. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and oversee the entire fabrication process to ensure timely production and quality control. Implement and maintain best manufacturing practices, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Supervise and manage the production team, ensuring high productivity and efficiency. Develop and execute production schedules in alignment with business objectives. Monitor equipment maintenance and ensure minimal downtime in the production process. Optimize resource utilization, including manpower, materials, and machinery. Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure adherence to specifications and customer requirements. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues that may arise. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in fabrication, preferably in boiler manufacturing. Strong knowledge of welding, metal fabrication, and machining processes. Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization. Familiarity with quality control standards and safety regulations. Experience in team management and leadership. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle production challenges. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in using production management software and MS Office tools. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in lean manufacturing and process improvement techniques. Knowledge of ASME standards and other fabrication-related regulations. Work Environment: The role is based in Pune and requires working in a manufacturing environment with adherence to safety protocols.
