Job Key Responsibilities : Production Execution: Implement production schedules to meet customer orders and inventory requirements. Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to schedules and deadlines. Optimize production flow and resource allocation to maximize efficiency i.e. OEE. Team Leadership and Management: Manage a team of production supervisors and operators, providing guidance and direction to complete correct production on time. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct performance evaluations. Foster a positive and productive work environment. Ensure production is done in all shifts as per plan. Process Optimization and Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize downtime. Utilize lean manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement methodologies. Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that production processes adhere to quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with the quality department to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Minimize product defects and ensure customer satisfaction. Equipment Maintenance and Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime by coordinating with maintenance team. Ensure that equipment is operated safely and efficiently. Implement preventive maintenance programs by coordinating with maintenance team. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Promote a safe work environment and minimize workplace accidents. Ensure all necessary production related documentation is properly maintained as per standard formats. Qualification Experience: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Plastic or related field). Minimum 8-10 years of experience in production management within the PVC pipe industry or a related manufacturing environment. Proven experience in leading and managing a production team. Strong knowledge of PVC pipe manufacturing processes and equipment. Skills Competencies: Technical: PVC, Extrusion, Machinery. Management: Planning, Scheduling, Leadership.
