Job Description: Production Officer – Biodiesel Position Title : Production Officer Department : Operations / Production Location : [Plant Location, Unnao, Farrukhabad Uttar Pradesh] Reporting To : Plant Manager / Production Head Company : Jai Shri Krishna Green India Bio Fuel Pvt. Ltd. Job Purpose The Production Officer will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in the biodiesel manufacturing process, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production in compliance with company standards and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities : Supervise and coordinate day-to-day biodiesel production activities to meet output and quality targets. Monitor and control process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rates, etc.) across various units like transesterification, settling tanks, and distillation units. Ensure availability of raw materials such as methanol, ethanol, fatty acids, and catalysts, coordinating with the inventory department. Maintain records of batch production, process performance, downtime, and quality control reports. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), GMP practices, and safety protocols. Coordinate with quality control (QC) department for sampling, analysis, and quality approval of batches. Assist in troubleshooting of mechanical or process issues and suggest improvements. Train and supervise plant operators and other technical staff. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations during operations. Report daily production performance to the Plant Manager or higher authority. Key Skills and Competencies : Good understanding of biodiesel production technology and process operations. Knowledge of handling chemicals and safety measures in a biofuel environment. Strong communication, reporting, and team coordination skills. Problem-solving ability and process optimization mindset. Educational Qualifications : B.Tech / B.Sc in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Experience : Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a biodiesel plant or similar chemical process industry. Experience in managing shift operations and team handling is preferred. Working Conditions : Plant-based role; must be comfortable with shift duties. Exposure to chemicals and operational machinery is expected.
