Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Professional Services Engineer/Architect to manage client engagements from initial design through implementation and migration, providing continuous operational support. This role ensures a seamless transition for customers from initial exposure to full operational capability. Key Responsibilities: Analyze customer situations to develop requirements. Gather technical requirements to design deployable networks. Develop and provide designs aligned with requirements. Write High and Low-Level Design documents for guidance and reference during and after network deployment. Conduct fabric design discussions and reviews with clients to meet their requirements. Detail and support implementation and migration planning. Write and execute test plans to validate newly deployed networks, ensuring they can handle production traffic. Plan, write, and execute Methods of Procedure documents to migrate production traffic from legacy infrastructure to new Network Fabric. Perform Knowledge Transfer Training on network designs, platforms, and features for Professional Services customers. Assist project management in developing project plans to track task execution, customer communication cadence, and timelines. Travel to customer locations as required. Technical Capabilities: Specialize in the design and deployment of industry-leading networking solutions. Develop accurate and meaningful requirements. Experience in high-level and low-level design for Spine leaf infrastructure. Strong exposure to packet capture level troubleshooting. Proven track record of successful and timely task delivery. Technical support experience in the networking domain, with experience on Arista equipment. Experience in Spine-leaf Architecture (L2LS/L3LS), MLAG, VXLAN, EVPN, BGP, OSPF, and other networking protocols and concepts. In-depth knowledge of OSPF, ISIS, BGP, L2 Technologies, and Multicast (for Architect role). Understanding of L2 Technologies (STP, PVST, MSTP, RSTP, EtherChannel). Troubleshoot network issues and provision new services. Understanding of MPLS and SP core networks (for Architect role). Perform upgrades (e.g., OS patches, vulnerability for Arista devices. Configure and optimize modules, induct new switches into running fabric. Perform UAT on newly deployed nodes and harden new switches. Basic knowledge of Linux, Python/Bash scripting, and VMware. Deliver technical and operational training to customers. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: Industry experience focused on IP networks: Engineer (5-10 years), Architect (10+ years). Degree in Computer Science (or similar). Experience with EOS and Cloud Vision. Led and delivered several projects, including greenfield implementations, complex migrations, and integration efforts (for Architect role). CCIE and/or JNCIE certifications/equivalents, security certifications such as CISSP/equivalents. Excellent written and verbal skills.
