Role & responsibilities Project Management Experience for handling mid-scale to large-scale projects preferably for appliances / consumer durables etc. Working Knowledge of Injection Moulded parts, Packaging Design, Graphics Design is preferred Having analytical skills Degree Holder; at least 4-6 years of experience in similar capacity. Knowledge of software for 2D and 3D modelling, Coral draw/ ai and other latest software Project manager responsible for idea generation and managing the cycle of new product development. Participate in existing and new product planning processes to assure timely acquisition of materials to support product launches. Responsible for Design & Development activities of new products from Concept to Testing (end to end process) Benchmarking of competitor products Preparation and management of Product Bill of materials, BOM structure, Costing, Routing Product / Process Costing and evaluation Product Testing, Validation, Material testing New Product Concept preparation, Evaluation, Finalization of best concept. Launching of Models & getting its market feedback for further product improvement / business consolidation. Responsible for design support, meet product cost target by contributing in design innovation using low-cost materials with same performance and reliability. Search new technology and ideas for innovation. Overall, In charge of all prototyping and supervision, programming and operating 3D printer and its maintenance also responsible for Prototypes verification & validation. Preparing the bill of materials. Traveling to the OEM for trial production/set up pilot run production. Vendor development for various requirements of design & prototyping. Overseeing mould development and design. T1 sample approval at mould maker place. Quality problem resolution to OEMs and follow up from suppliers. Patent and design registration Preferred candidate profile Experience in Product design and development from idea generation to production. Supporting production department for smooth production with optimum quality control. Logical decision maker with excellent problem resolving abilities. Good understanding of the processes and procedures with quality management system. Strong at vendor development. Ability to take up responsibilities and deliver positive and timely results. Excellent communication and convincing method. Having remarkable knowledge in plastic materials, prototyping and process, engineering drawing, Press tool, mould, jigs & fixture, &2D and 3D modelling.
