Job Title : Project Engineer -Electrical Organization Name : NEC India Reporting Relationship : Project Manager Role Summary: NEC India is seeking a skilled Project Engineer - Electrical to support and manage electrical systems and infrastructure across client sites. The role involves direct coordination with the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team to ensure the smooth execution of all electrical-related activities, maintenance schedules, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience, strong coordination capabilities, and a deep understanding of compliance and risk management in electrical systems. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all electrical-related works across the project sites, including: New electricity meter connections. Timely bill payments for electrical connections. Electrical installations at field locations and junction points. Diesel Generator (DG) maintenance and operations. Act as a key point of contact for electrical issues, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders. Monitor and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, infrastructure regulations, and risk protocols. Prepare daily/weekly reports and provide regular updates to the O&M Manager. Assist in infrastructure audits and ensure corrective actions are taken where necessary. Participate in the planning, estimation, and implementation of electrical works. Provide technical support during inspections, troubleshooting, and upgrades. Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical project execution and maintenance. Desirable Skills: Strong skills in research, planning, and project estimation. Good written and verbal communication and presentation abilities. Strong documentation and reporting skills. Effective client handling and coordination across departments. Basic leadership and team coordination capabilities. Working knowledge of compliance, infrastructure operations, and risk management. Base Location: Saharanpur Project Willingness to travel to project locations as required. Specialization Description Technical Project Management requires specific technical knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for a technical process or project including: Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets Providing technical and analytical guidance to the project team Ensuring adherence to quality standards and review of project deliverables Analyzing and documenting requirements by liaising with a range of users in the organization On some projects, where applicable, manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverablesSpecialization Match Note: Para-Professional incumbents update/maintain project schedules and associated resource plans and prepares progress reports. Para-Professional support may be in a Project Management Office (PMO) environment supporting multiple IT Projects. Level Description Experienced level professional that applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
