Job Description

Postion - Project Engineer / Sr. Project Engineer - Design (Casting, forging skills using Creo) We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer / Sr. Project Engineer - Design with 2 to 4 years of experience, demonstrating strong proficiency in Creo for design within the casting and forging domains. This pivotal role involves contributing to the development of robust and innovative mechanical components. Your core responsibilities will include leveraging Creo to create detailed 3D models and assemblies, ensuring designs meet precise engineering specifications. A critical aspect of this position is your experience in handling PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems, preferably Windchill, to manage design data, revisions, and workflows efficiently. You will be responsible for meticulously applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure design intent is accurately communicated for manufacturing and inspection. Furthermore, the ability to conduct precise Tolerance Stack-up calculations is essential to predict assembly fit and function, thereby minimizing potential manufacturing issues. This role requires a strong understanding of various manufacturing processes related to casting and forging, enabling you to design components that are not only functional but also cost-effective and manufacturable. You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams to ensure design feasibility and smooth transitions from design to production.
