Position Overview Responsible for managing solar project execution — from planning equipment layouts and procuring materials to supervising site installation and subcontractors. Ensures smooth operations, cost control, and client communication, while maintaining documentation and resolving technical issues during and after installation. Responsibilities: Preparing equipment layout diagram and estimate of material required to execute the site after discussion with the sales team and client. Procuring minor materials required to execute the site and engaging services of sub-contractors such as fabricators, civil contractors, labour contractors etc. Supervising delivery and safe storage of material on the site. Supervising installation of the site with either in-house or sub contracted installation team. Following internal processes such as filling up installation and commissioning checklists, taking necessary images of the installation. Communicating site execution progress with client and management. Reporting costs incurred and manpower utilization during project execution. Understanding and resolving issues faced during and post installation of solar plant. Understanding the technical specifications and features of the products. Keeping abreast with the latest developments in the field by attending conferences, exhibitions, online research and reading research publication. Collaborating with sales, account management, purchase and sub-contracting teams to ensure seamless operations, cost effective and efficient installations. Preparing standard operating procedures and troubleshooting manuals for installation and maintenance engineers. Communicating operation and maintenance details to the customer. Requirements: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (solar experience preferred). Knowledge of civil construction, fabrication, and electrical work . Experience in installation or maintenance is a plus. Valid driving license and own bike. Strong problem-solving, time management, and teamwork skills. Willingness to travel and work in outdoor environments. Excellent communication and adaptability .
