The Opportunity: We're looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Project Planning & Project Management Intern to join our dynamic team in our Chennai office. This is an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring professional to gain hands-on experience in the exciting and rapidly expanding solar energy industry. You'll work closely with experienced project managers and engineers, contributing to the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of large-scale solar power projects. What You'll Do: As a Project Planning & Management Intern, you'll be involved in various aspects of the project lifecycle, including but not limited to: · Project Documentation & Reporting: Assist in preparing and maintaining project plans, schedules, reports, presentations, and other critical documentation. · Data Analysis & Visualization: Support the collection, analysis, and interpretation of project data, including progress tracking, resource allocation, and cost monitoring. · Scheduling Support: Help develop and update project schedules using relevant planning tools (e.g., MS Project). · Stakeholder Coordination: Assist in coordinating with internal teams (engineering, procurement, finance) and external stakeholders (contractors, suppliers) to ensure smooth project flow. · Risk Identification & Mitigation: Support in identifying potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies. · Site Visits (as needed): Potentially participate in site visits to observe project progress and gain practical insights into construction activities. · Process Improvement: Contribute to identifying and suggesting improvements in project planning and management processes. · Research & Learning: Conduct research on best practices in project management, solar technology trends, and regulatory frameworks. Who We're Looking For: · Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Renewable Energy), Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. · Passion for Renewable Energy: A genuine interest and enthusiasm for the solar energy sector and its impact. · Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an aptitude for data analysis. · Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. · Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills. · Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project) is a plus. · Proactive & Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach. · Adaptability: Eagerness to learn new concepts and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
