Project Manager Commercial/ industrial Building Project Work Location Andheri Role & responsibilities Responsibilities of a Project Manager 1. Project Planning and Scheduling Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and milestones in coordination with stakeholders. Allocate resources efficiently, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. 2. Budget Management Prepare and monitor project budgets to ensure cost-effective execution during the entire project. Control expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. 3. Team Leadership Cordinate & ensure smooth & robust coordination with various contractors / Consultants (Structural, Civil, MEP. Architects, Interiors etc.) Supervising each contractors Work & lead to ensure getting the project execution with Best Quality, within strict Timelines & at Optimal Cost. 4. Quality Control and Assurance Ensure construction work adheres to design specifications, standards, and quality benchmarks. To define detailed scope and BOQ of the works. Conduct regular site inspections and address any quality or compliance issues. 5. Safety Management Implement and enforce safety protocols and practices on-site. Conduct safety audits and ensure the site complies with all legal and environmental regulations. 6. Stakeholder Communication Act as the primary point of contact between the company, contractors and vendors. Provide regular progress updates and address concerns effectively. 7. Problem Solving and Risk Management Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize delays and disruptions. 8. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of project progress, budgets, and resource allocation. Prepare and submit periodic reports to company leadership and clients. 9. Vendor and Contractor Coordination Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials. Monitor contractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met. 10. Regulatory Compliance Ensure the project complies with all legal, environmental, and building code requirements. Obtain necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities. 11. Continuous Improvement Evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement in processes and practices. Implement innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and quality. Requirement This role requires leadership, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing the complexities of a construction project. Must combine robust technical know-how with strong people skills to ensure every project meets its prescribed outcomes. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks. Strong financial understanding and experience in project budgeting and cost control. Technical Skills : Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or other project management and design tools. Project Management Expertise : Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with local construction regulations, standards, and permit processes. Certifications Relevant professional certification in project management or construction management, like Project Management Professional (PMP) or LEED certification. Who Can apply? Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field. 10+ years of experience in project management and civil engineering, in Commercial/ Industrial Building projects .
