Position Title: Project Manager – Pipeline & Water Tower Construction Location: Aurangabad, Bihar Reporting To: Director/Owner Firm: Umang Infrastructure (or relevant firm) Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to oversee pipeline laying and water tower (OHT) construction projects in Aurangabad. The PM will be responsible for planning, execution, vendor coordination, site supervision, and timely delivery of the project, while ensuring quality, compliance, and budget control. Key Responsibilities: Project Execution & Site Supervision Supervise daily site operations for pipeline and OHT works. Ensure timely completion of tasks in accordance with approved project timelines and drawings. Coordinate hydrotesting, excavation, backfilling, jointing, curing, and concrete works as needed. Team & Vendor Management Allocate and monitor tasks to supervisors, engineers, and labor contractors. Ensure vendor teams are present daily; take attendance and verify number of laborers. Raise concerns about slow progress or absenteeism and take immediate corrective actions. Material Management Ensure timely material supply to the site. Maintain stock and consumption logs for pipes, fittings, cement, steel, sand, etc. Verify receipt of materials (direct to site or from godown) and coordinate with the material tracking officer. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily progress reports (DPR) with labor count, work done, and issues faced. Capture and send photo evidence of progress, hindrances, or tests conducted. Back up all site letters and approvals digitally and physically. Submit weekly updates to Head Office. Compliance & Quality Control Ensure safety and compliance with BIS/CPHEEO norms and approved design/specifications. Verify that all tests (hydrotesting, cube testing, etc.) are properly conducted and recorded. Billing Support Support in preparation of joint measurement books and RA bills. Track quantities executed vs BOQ. Required Skills & Experience: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering. 3–5 years’ experience in pipeline (DI/CI/HDPE) and OHT projects. Strong knowledge of site execution, measurement books, QA/QC standards, and local bylaws. Experience handling vendors/labor contractors and coordinating with government officials. Proficiency in MS Excel, WhatsApp, Google Drive; knowledge of Unolo or field apps is a plus. Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience. Local travel and mobile allowances.
