This role involves managing and analyzing the financial activities of rental properties, ensuring accurate reporting, handling accounts payable/receivable, preparing financial statements, and supporting property management teams with accounting-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and property management, as well as proficiency with property management software. Primary Skills: Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in property management accounting or a similar role in real estate accounting. Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and real estate accounting practices. Experience in handling US Taxation process (1099, 1065, 1040) Experience in finalization in US Accounting process Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, MRI, Buildium) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage). Advanced Excel skills: Able to create financial models, use pivot tables, and handle large datasets. Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Problem-solving skills: Ability to analyse financial discrepancies and provide timely solutions.
