Job Title: L2 Network EngineerLocation: AiroliPosition Type:Full-timeJob Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled L2 Network Engineer with expertise in ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) and F5 technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and supporting Layer 2 network infrastructure, including switches, routers, VLANs, and other networking devices, along with hands-on experience in ACI and F5 load balancing. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining network devices, ensuring seamless communication across our organization's network.Key Responsibilities: - Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Layer 2 networking devices (e.g., switches, access points, etc.). - Work with ACI solutions to configure, deploy, and troubleshoot application-aware network architectures. - Implement and maintain F5 load balancers for application traffic management, ensuring high availability and load balancing across the network. - Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Link Aggregation (LACP), and other Layer 2 protocols. - Collaborate with network architects and other engineers to implement network designs and optimize existing setups. - Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve issues to maintain uninterrupted service. - Ensure network security through the configuration of network policies, port security, and other access control mechanisms. - Assist in network upgrades, expansions, and installations. - Conduct network audits and perform necessary upgrades or patches to network devices and systems. - Support network troubleshooting for both internal and external network issues. - Participate in on-call support for network issues during off-hours as necessary.Skills and Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other networking equipment for L2 protocols. - Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, and switching protocols. - Experience with Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) and its integration within an enterprise network environment. - Hands-on experience with F5 load balancers, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting of F5 LTM (Local Traffic Manager), GTM (Global Traffic Manager), or APM (Access Policy Manager). - Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark). - Strong troubleshooting skills for network issues, including those involving ACI and F5 load balancing solutions. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment.**Preferred Skills:** - Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, ACI Specialist, or F5 Certified Administrator (F5-CA). - Experience with network automation tools or scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible). - Familiarity with data center networking and automation.
