Job Description

Preferred- Female Candidate Description We're looking for a dynamic and proactive Public Relations & Communications Manager who can lead strategic communication efforts, build our brand reputation, and drive media visibility across multiple platforms. You’ll play a key role in managing content, planning events, handling media, and ensuring our upcoming brand becomes a known name in the industry. You’ll gain full exposure to end-to-end product PR handling—from strategy to execution—while working closely with the management team of an organization driven by a bold vision and ambitious growth goals. This is a unique opportunity to shape brand narratives from the ground up and be part of a team building something impactful. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s in PR, Mass Communication, Journalism, or similar 3–5 years of experience in PR/Comms (agency or brand side) Must have skills · Clear and confident communication—both written and spoken. · Good connections with media and influencers, especially in FMCG, pet care, or lifestyle sectors. · Experience in planning, scripting, and managing podcasts (audio and video formats). · Hands-on experience in product launches and building brand stories. · Comfortable working across different formats—print, digital, video, and audio. · Familiarity with PR distribution tools like PR Newswire, Business Wire, or ANI. · Skilled in writing, editing, and crafting impactful content. · Experience organizing PR events, podcasts, and collaborating with influencers. · Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment and coordinate across teams. · Proactive, independent, and takes full ownership of assigned work. Candidates preferred Prior work with product-based brands or consumer goods is preferred (FMCG, pet care, or lifestyle sectors.) Existing media relationships and network. Familiarity with PR analytics tools (Meltwater, Cision, Brandwatch, Coveragebook, etc.) Key Role PR & Media Relations · Plan and run PR activities that support the company’s goals. · Handle press meets, media talks, and product launch events. · Respond to media queries and arrange interviews or public talks. · Build strong connections with media and influencers. · Organize community drives, events, and brand campaigns. Content & Communication · Write and manage press releases, newsletters, and brand updates. · Make sure all content matches the brand’s tone and voice. · Work with the SEO/content team to align PR with overall marketing. · Plan scripts for podcasts and interviews (audio, video, print). Research & Analysis · Keep an eye on industry and social trends to shape smart PR plans. · Study competitors and market activity. · Track media coverage, influencer performance, and PR results. Press Distribution · Lead the full process of creating and sending press releases and brand stories. · Use tools like PR Newswire, Business Wire, and ANI to share content widely. · Ensure timely and effective media distribution. Events & Branding · Work with teams to plan branding for events, media kits, and coverage. · Create buzz at pop-ups, expos, and industry meetups.
