We are looking for a Purchase Assistant whose responsibilities include researching new vendors, tracking deliveries, and updating order records (e.g., dates, invoices, and discounts.) If you re familiar with supply chain procedures and know how to create and translate cost analyses, you would be the right fit for the role. Research and evaluate about the suppliers Get quotation and negotiate on pricing with suppliers New product listing and monitoring Project tracking and reporting Creating purchase orders Maintaining reports on Microsoft Excel, MS Project, and Microsoft Dynamics Coordination with design and logistics team to keep track of projects Monitor inventory level and determine appropriate delivery dates Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition Desired Skills A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred Prior experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing will be advantageous Strong knowledge of MS Excel Attention to detail Effective note taking skills Multi-Tasking Team Player with good communication skills Willing to learn and adapt new ideas and skills
