Job Title: Purchase inchage Company: Solar Division Location: Gandhidham, Gujarat Position Type: Full-Time Salary: ₹40,000 per month Experience Required: Minimum 3 years Qualification: MBA or PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain Management Industry: Solar or Renewable Energy Role Overview Company is seeking a Purchase Department Head to lead procurement activities. The candidate should have proven experience in managing procurement for solar or engineering products and services, with a focus on cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and quality compliance. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement purchase strategies for solar-related products such as panels, inverters, batteries, and mounting structures Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure best pricing and delivery terms Collaborate with project, store, accounts, and logistics teams to meet operational needs Maintain accurate records of supplier performance, contracts, and documentation Ensure compliance with quality standards and legal regulations including GST and commercial terms Use ERP or procurement software to manage and track purchase orders and inventory Monitor market trends and suggest improvements in procurement processes Lead and mentor the purchase team to meet department goals Required Skills and Experience Minimum 3 years experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in solar or EPC projects Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Familiarity with procurement software, MS Excel, and documentation Good communication skills in Gujarati, Hindi, and English Leadership skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team resume @theactivegroup.in 6358812301 Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹43,680.18 per month Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Rotational shift Work Location: In person
