Job Description: Procurement- Manager/ Sr Manager Job Summary: The Opex Procurement Manager for Cell Manufacturing will be responsible for managing the procurement of operational expenditure (Opex) materials and services required for the efficient operation of the cell manufacturing unit. This role involves vendor management, cost optimization, contract negotiation, and ensuring a seamless supply chain to support business operations. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement procurement strategies for Opex-related goods and services specific to cell manufacturing operations. • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards. • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best pricing and service levels. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, finance, and quality assurance, to align procurement activities with business objectives. • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and services to prevent operational disruptions. • Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic reviews to maintain quality and service levels. • Drive cost-saving initiatives and identify areas for process improvement in procurement operations. • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and sustainability requirements. • Manage procurement data, track spending, and generate reports for management review. • Stay updated with market trends, emerging technologies, and supplier innovations in the renewable energy and cell manufacturing sector. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree (MBA) is preferred. • 8-15 years of experience in procurement, preferably in cell manufacturing, electronics, or renewable energy sectors. • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and cost optimization strategies. • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools. • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
