Role: Python Data Engineer Skillset: Python, SQL, ETL tool- Informatica/Talend, etc Experience: 6-8 years Location: Noida only Key Responsibilities: Inspect and comprehend current ETL processes written in Talend. Re-engineer and implement ETL processes in Python based on best practices for performance and ease of maintenance. Work together with data engineers and DBAs to synchronize Python ETL jobs with database schema and mappings. Create strong, scalable, and reusable code for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Maximize data processing and guarantee data quality and integrity across systems. Document new ETL processes and assist during test and production rollout. Mandatory Skills: Proficient in Python programming for data processing, automation, and application development. Strong knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, and other Python libraries for data manipulation and analysis. Solid understanding of data workflows, including data cleaning, transformation, and integration. Proficient in SQL with solid knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server). Ability to read, analyze, and refactor existing code and workflows for maintainability and performance. Preferred Skills: Experience with Apache Spark or PySpark . Familiarity with Python REST frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django, FastAPI) for building APIs and web services. Exposure to data lake or cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
