Job Description

We are looking for a QA Engineer for conducting Mechanical Inspections with required output, safety and quality. The candidate is required to have at least 3 years of working experience in QA/QC (Pref in Aerospace / Defence sector) Role & responsibilities Conduct precise mechanical inspections at client-supplier locations Verify documents and perform inspections on mechanical parts, components, assemblies, and materials Utilize various inspection equipment, including micrometres, gauge blocks, dial indicators, height gauges, optical comparators, profilometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) Approve or Reject items based on document / inspection results Review and verify documentation for certifications, specifications, and conformance to design requirements Communicate effectively with internal customers and suppliers to resolve inspection discrepancies Co-ordinate with customer representatives and get product clearances and green cards Preferred candidate profile Proficiency with various inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges) Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Ability to read and interpret standard manufacturing drawings Strong attention to detail and ability to detect defects in complex products Knowledge in QAP documentation Knowledge of Check sheets, process of integration & inspection NDT level 2 qualified is desirable Experience in Seeker & Actuation systems are mandatory Six Sigma green belt certification desirable Able to understand test plans Knowledge of systems & sub-systems in a Missile system Scrutiny of documents such as QAP, IPD, MDI, BOM, and ATP Qualification & Experience: B Tech/M Tech (Electrical/ECE/Mechanical) with Experience in documentation, communication & presentation More than 3 years of working experience in QA/QC (Pref in Aerospace / Defence sector)
