Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong communication skills, client interaction experience, and Scrum knowledge , who is based in Ahmedabad or Nearby City . The ideal candidate should have basic automation testing knowledge and work closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning & Execution: Understand business requirements and define test strategies. Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual & automation). Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA. Client Communication: Collaborate with clients to understand their testing needs. Participate in client meetings to discuss test strategies, reports, and issue resolution. Provide timely updates on test progress and bug fixes. Scrum & Agile Knowledge: Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure smooth sprint execution. Ensure test cases align with user stories and acceptance criteria . Basic Automation Testing: Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, or Playwright. Ability to write basic automation scripts in Python/Java/JavaScript . Knowledge of API testing using Postman or RestAssured. Required Skills & Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in software testing. Excellent communication & client-handling skills . Strong understanding of Agile & Scrum methodologies . Experience with manual testing, test case creation, and bug tracking . Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (Selenium, Playright, etc.). Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman. Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad or Nearby City Preferred Skills (Good to Have): Experience in mobile testing (Android/iOS). Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools .
