QA Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 2- 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, implement solutions, and maintain high standards of quality throughout the development lifecycle. Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of software products. Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as needed. Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency. Perform root cause analysis for defects and provide detailed reports to stakeholders. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Continuously improve QA processes and procedures to enhance overall product quality. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in quality assurance and testing. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in a software development environment. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript. Experience with automated testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail. Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA are a plus.
