Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with expertise in invoices, accounting, and billing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual testing and hands-on knowledge of automation using Java. You will be responsible for validating invoice data, checking database records using SQL queries and joins, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions. Good experience on API Testing through Postman. Key Responsibilities: Perform manual testing of invoice processing, accounting, and billing applications. Validate invoice data and financial transactions by querying the database using basic SQL queries and joins. Ensure data accuracy by cross-checking invoices against database records. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for financial modules. Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and resolve defects. Automate test cases using Java/Typescript-based automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright). Perform regression, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality. Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Xray. Ensure compliance with financial and accounting standards in software testing. Required Skills Qualifications: Strong manual testing experience with finance-related applications (invoices, billing, accounting). Experience in validating invoice data and reconciling it with databases. Proficiency in SQL (basic queries, joins, data validation). Hands-on experience with Java/Typescript-based automation testing (Playwright) and Postman Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of financial processes such as invoicing, billing, and accounting workflows. Experience with test management tools like JIRA, Xray. Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills.
