QA Practice Lead - Automation/Performance Testing

Job Description Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage the QA practice, setting strategic direction for SDET Automation, Performance Testing, and Test Architecture. Drive the design, development, and implementation of robust test automation frameworks. Provide technical leadership and expertise in the use of various automation testing tools, including hands on guidance with Selenium. Lead and oversee performance testing initiatives, utilizing tools such as JMeter, Load Runner, or RPT, and analyzing results to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance. Champion and lead Security testing efforts within the practice, ensuring applications are secure against potential threats. Define and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans tailored to the specific needs of projects within the IoT, Engineering, Product testing, and BFSI sectors. Collaborate effectively with development, product, engineering, and business teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. Leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and guide the team towards effective solutions. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Ensure QA processes and activities align with Agile methodologies and project timelines. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Required Skills & Qualifications 12 to 16 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing. Proficiency in SDET Automation concepts and practices. Expertise in Performance Testing methodologies and tools (JMeter, Load Runner, or RPT). Strong knowledge and experience in Test Architecture design and implementation. Hands-on experience with test automation tools, including Selenium. Proven experience in developing test automation frameworks. Strong focus on and experience with Security testing methodologies and execution. Demonstrated experience excelling in testing within specific domains such as IoT, Engineering, Product testing, and/or BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sectors. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience working with Agile methodologies.
