QA Test Engineer .NET Core & Angular Web Applications Job Brief: We are looking for a QA Test Engineer to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality .NET Core and Angular-based web applications. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for assessing software quality through manual and automated testing, validating both frontend and backend components. Your goal is to ensure our web applications meet both functional and technical requirements and provide a seamless experience to end-users. Responsibilities: Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements for web applications built with .NET Core and Angular. Collaborate with QA Engineers, Developers, and Product Managers to develop test strategies, plans, and test cases. Execute functional, integration, regression, and UI/UX tests on Angular frontends and .NET Core backends. Write, update, and maintain comprehensive test documentation including test cases, defect reports, and test summaries. Perform API testing (RESTful services) using tools like Postman or Swagger. Use test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) to script and run automated tests. Use SQL to validate data integrity, backend logic, and perform database verifications. Perform cross-browser and responsive testing across devices. Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar. Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing to ensure issues are resolved. Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement. Work with the DevOps team to support CI/CD pipelines and integrate test automation. Provide timely feedback to the development team and suggest process improvements for better product quality. Requirements and Skills: Proven experience as a QA Tester, QA Engineer, or similar role with 2+ years in web application testing. Hands-on experience testing applications built using .NET Core and Angular frameworks. Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes. Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure Boards). Experience with test management tools (e.g., qTest, Zephyr, TestRail). Knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is an added advantage. Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for backend verification. Good knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and REST APIs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Nice to Have: Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Experience with accessibility testing. Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git.
