QA Tester

Job Description

TechnoMile is looking for a QA Tester to join our Technology Team. The day-to-day: Translate functional requirements and specifications into documented test plans, cases and steps. Rigorously planning, writing and executing test scripts and perform manual and automated regression testing. Creation and maintenance of test data, scripts, execution log and defect management. Analyze requirements, develop test plan strategies, create and execute test cases, track defects and report results. Ability to write and test basic database queries and stored procedures experience. Work with a cross-functional team for testing needs and provide Adhoc data Support. Work closely with onshore and offshore team members to ensure the quality of deliverables. Prepares and executes test scripts based upon test strategy/plans to identify defects prior to production. Manual testing is needed to understand automation need and potential. Complete testing in line with agreed timeframes and by following the documented business processes using the appropriate test management and automation tools. Continually update skills by learning new technologies relevant to the role. Understanding of Agile SDLC and ticket-driven work processes. Familiarity with API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools. Proficiency in automation testing using tools like Selenium WebDriver for web applications. Who you are: The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience of QA Testing experience. Should have worked on Web Application, Microsoft & Salesforce CRM. Should have sound knowledge and understanding of QA Processes, STLC and SDLC. Test coordination with downstream application teams for integration testing. Ability to work under tight schedule to lead end-to-end validations, from requirement inception to production deployment. Experience with at least one Test Management tool, for example, Azure, QC, Jira and solid experience with Defect Management Process. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients, development team, and other partners to understand the requirements, usage patterns and plan the test design. Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment. Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automation scripts into DevOps workflows (preferred).
