Job Description

Role Title: Team Member QA/QC Purpose: Assist the Project QA/QC Manager in facilitating the development, operation and maintenance of Quality and Environmental related matters with regard to the implementation of the work requirements. Key Responsibilities: A. Assist the Project QA/QC Manager and Section Managers in the implementation of QA, QC and Environmental procedures. B. Audit/monitor QA and Environmental systems for compliance and effectiveness. C. Assess subcontractor/supplier QA arrangements for compliance with contract requirements. D. Ensure key dates are achieved for preparation and submission (where appropriate) of quality procedures, inspection and test plans. E. Acquaint section personnel with QA requirements and arrangements in place to achieve them. F. Ensure QA records are produced and stored by the Document Controller/Supervisor in a readily retrievable manner/submitted in a timely manner. G. Provide regular reports and analysis of QA performance to QA/QC Manager. H. Carry out scheduled inspection/random spot checks on product/work quality being achieved and report results /make suggestions for improvements, if appropriate. I. Control/check on status of issue/revisions of QC documents/drawings within your section/on sites. J. Supervise the works and performance of QA Supervisor and other subordinates as designated. K. Implementation of the Project Quality and Environmental Plan. L. Coordinating and maintaining a nonconformance control system including the issuing of nonconformance reports to the Project Manager and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and effective. M. Control further activities until a quality or environmental deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
