Job Description

A Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing the costs and financial aspects of a construction project. They work closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget. Role & responsibilities Estimate costs and prepare detailed budgets for construction projects. Manage project costs, monitor expenses, and track budget adherence. Assist in contract negotiation, tendering, and bid evaluation. Measure quantities of materials and labor required for the project. Provide financial reports, cost forecasts, and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with contractual terms and resolve any cost disputes. Preferred candidate profile Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation. Contract management and financial reporting. Proficiency in cost estimation software Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
