QS & Billing Engineer (civil)

Job description Job Summary: The Billing Engineer will be responsible for managing all aspects of billing and finanacial reporting for construction projects. This includes the preparation & Verification of client bills, sub-contractor bills, preparation of zero budgets, budget monitoring ,varaiations,reconcilation of bills and materials. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze zero budget for project. Preparation of client bills & Getting them certified by client and follow up for payments. Monitor project budgets and expenditures. Evaluate sub-contractor proposals . Preaparation of subcontractor bills & Certificaion by client. Measure and value work done on-site. Reconciliation of client v/s sub-contractor bills. Reconciliation of major materials like cement/steel/diesel etc. Price variations/Extra Items/Rate Analysis for new items. Documentation of Bills/Variations/Reconcilitions/Drawings Quantification as per drawings. Prepartion of BBS/Quantiies etc. Strong communication skills, client & sub-contractor handling & undrstanding of contract is a pre-requisite. Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in civil engineering or related field. 5-10 years of experience in construction projects. Strong understanding od billing processes, contract management, and project cost control. Proficiency in billing software/Autocad/MS office. Excellent commercial & analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills: Experience in large-scale construction projects. Knowledge of construction standards and regulations. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
