Role & responsibilities : Testing Strategy: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various applications, including trading platforms, customer portals, and back-office systems. Automation : Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage of testing processes. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner. Collaborate with development teams to facilitate resolution. Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to ensure systems can handle expected user loads, especially during peak trading times. Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of test results, procedures, and quality assurance standards. Collaboration : Work closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on functional specifications. Continuous Improvement: Advocate for quality best practices and contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality. Compliance : Ensure that testing processes comply with industry regulations and standards relevant to the financial services sector. Preferred candidate profile : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A year of experience in software quality assurance/testing, preferably in the financial services or brokerage sector. Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP). Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
