Quality Analyst

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement QA methodologies to ensure high-quality deliverables across the development lifecycle. Review functional and technical specifications to ensure clarity and testability. Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts. Identify, log, and track bugs through resolution and perform regression testing. Conduct testing for VoIP/SIP systems and APIs, ensuring protocol compliance and functionality. Monitor and report on quality metrics like defect density and open defects. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members. Continuously evaluate and integrate new automation tools and testing strategies. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test lifecycle, and automation frameworks. Hands-on experience with SIP/VoIP protocol testing and REST API validation. Proficient in writing test plans, test cases, and automation scripts. Experience in Automation Testing using tools such as SIPRES, Selenium, Postman, or similar. Familiarity with SQL, basic scripting, and debugging tools. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Selenium Tester). Experience with performance/security testing. Exposure to tools like QTP, JMeter, or Wireshark for protocol-level debugging.
