Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans. Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing for web applications. Leverage tools like Selenium, Cypress for automated testing. Monitor and report defects, working closely with the engineering team to resolve issues. Ensure adherence to industry best practices for quality assurance and testing processes. Maintain and expand test automation frameworks in a scalable and efficient manner. Validate compliance with WCAG accessibility standards and web performance benchmarks. Contribute to building a culture of quality by continuously optimizing testing methodologies and sharing insights with the team. Required Skills 1-3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or a similar role. Strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies. Hands-on experience with testing frameworks like Selenium, RestAssured, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools. Proficiency in Java, and Cucumber (BDD) for UI automation. Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman. Strong understanding of Page Object Model (POM). Familiarity with version control tools like Git and experience with CI/CD pipelines(Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines etc.). Basic understanding of frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is a plus. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. Good to Have Experience testing platforms with real-time components, such as Socket.io integrations. Familiarity with security testing and vulnerability scanning tools. Knowledge of WCAG guidelines and experience testing web accessibility. Exposure to cloud-based environments like Azure or AWS. Understanding of database testing and SQL queries. Experience in testing large-scale, distributed systems with a focus on scalability and performance. Experience with data security, including encryption/decryption and end-to-end encryption.
