Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Conduct manual testing for web portals, mobile applications, and APIs to ensure product quality. Analyze product requirements and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases. Execute test cases and report defects with clear, concise documentation. Work closely with the development team to identify, log, and track issues to closure. Ensure the functionality, usability, compatibility and reliability of the application across different platforms. Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing as needed. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand testing requirements and priorities. Participate in test planning and contribute to test strategy discussions. Required Skills and Qualifications: Candidates should hold a degree in BE (IT, Computer), BCA, MCA, or MSc IT1 to 3 years of experience in manual testing. Strong knowledge of manual testing processes and methodologies. Experience in testing web portals, mobile applications (Android/iOS), and APIs. Proficiency in writing and executing test cases. Familiarity with tools like Postman for API testing. Basic understanding of defect tracking tools such as JIRA, or similar. Knowledge of SQL for database validation is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
