Role Description Perform in-process, incoming, and final inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Use precision measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc., for inspection. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues. Maintain proper documentation such as inspection records, checklists, and quality logs. Support internal and external audits (e.g., IATF 16949, SABS, customer audits). Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Qualifications Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Quality Engineering or a related field. 0–2 years of experience in a quality inspection role in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
