Quality Manager

Job Description

The Candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire quality aspects for the Company - both Materials as well as Installations. He Should have extensive experience to independently driving internal and external suppliers / Vendors / service Providers to deliver High Quality for material / services as per industry standard / IS or International Quality Standards Education : B.E/Diploma – Electrical / Electronics Ensuring Quality control for material being procured by company. Conducting Inspection of materials at Vendor premises / warehouse / Site. Conducting Quality Inspection for the Workmanship of Installation at site. Various materials inspection, validating Vendor Material Test reports, Preparing Test records, laboratory testing/ sampling, as per norms defined in QAP/FQAP Preparation of the Project Field Quality Plans, Material Quality Control Plans and Project Quality Procedures/ Checklist which guarantee compliance with contractual requirements and ISO/IS/ International of Company defined Standards. Preparation of work procedures / SoP for different activities. Implementing all necessary corrective actions for any failure/defects identified within Project / Material Quality. Assesses the Quality Control Plans of Vendor and identify any gaps / corrective measures. Providing Feedback on major problems, ensure corrective & Preventive actions & ensuring proactive approach to prevent rework/mistakes. Supports the Project Manager in preparation of all the required project management procedures and documents. Ensures contract review and project close out are adequately performed w.r.t to Quality. Provides the necessary back-up to the Proposal/Project Manager regarding contractual issues relating to Quality both during tender and project execution phase. Conducting periodical audits & provides the report with analysis of project Quality Monitoring (NCs-Non-Conformity, complaints and lesson learnt etc.). Monitoring adequate close out of NCs- Non-Conformity and events. Training for Internal & External staff, subcontractor workmen for Quality Aspects. Conducting the Management Review Meetings. Conducting the Training for the Field Team Conducting the Secession for all the CFT for Key Quality Requirements & Improvements. Travel as needed based on requirements Show more Show less
