Position: Quantity Surveyor Qualification: Bachelors in Civil Engineering Experience: 5-10 Years Location: Gurgaon Company Name: - Aalaya Engineering Project Private Limited Responsibilities: Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including material, labor, and overhead costs. Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate quantities and costs. Tendering: Manage the tendering process, including the preparation and submission of bids. Evaluate and analyze tender documents, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of project requirements. Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services. Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase. Track and analyze variations and change orders, assessing their impact on project costs. Quantity Take-off: Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings. Verify and update quantity estimates based on project progress and changes. Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date quantity information. Contract Management: Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Review and understand contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance. Manage contractual relationships and address any contractual disputes that may arise. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and organized project documentation related to quantity surveying activities. Prepare and submit regular reports on project cost status, including forecasts and final accounts. Ensure that all project documentation complies with regulatory and internal standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Experience of 5-10 years Well proficient in AUTOCAD, Excel a must. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry. In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes. Familiarity with relevant software tools for cost estimation and project management. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
