Job Description

Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction costs and production are managed efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Role & responsibilities: Work out Quantities of all RCC items of work (i.e. Concrete, Reinforcement, Couplers, Shuttering, PT Work Etc.) Other quantities take of as and when required Prepare & verify Detailed Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) and to check the BBS with respect to actual reinforcement placed on site Prepare fortnightly reinforcement consumption reports as per actual site progress Work out Quantities of Structural Steel Plates & other items as per project requirements Perform Site Measurements. Regularly monitor site progress by taking actual site progress photos Cross check RFIs generated from contractors with respect to drawings and should correspond accordingly with structural consultant. Use AutoCAD and MS Excel for quantification and interpretation of drawings. Preferred candidate profile Education: B.E. Civil /Diploma in Civil Engineering Experience: 5-6 years of relevant experience in a related industry (specifically the Real Estate/Construction industry) Skills: Auto CAD MS Office (especially Microsoft Excel) Personal Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong multitasking abilities with an aptitude for managing complex workflows in a fast-paced environment
