Position Summary:The Finance Controller for Multiple Units will be responsible for overseeing the financial health and performance of several business units within the organization. This role will manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, ensuring the integrity of financial data and alignment with the companys strategic goals. The Finance Controller will work closely with business unit leaders to drive financial performance and ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting and Analysis:Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple units.Provide in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making and improve overall financial performance.Review and reconcile financial discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Budgeting and Forecasting:Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for multiple business units, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and financial targets.Monitor unit performance against budget and forecasts, providing recommendations for corrective actions as necessary.Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts and prepare reports to senior management.Cash Flow and Working Capital Management:Manage and monitor the cash flow, ensuring proper liquidity for operations across all units.Optimize working capital by managing receivables, payables, and inventory effectively.Develop strategies to ensure the efficient use of capital and meet financial goals.Internal Controls and Compliance:Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and safeguard company assets.Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, accounting standards, and other applicable financial regulations.Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits for all business units, ensuring timely completion and adherence to auditing standards.Strategic Financial Planning and Decision Support:Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies for the business units, with an eye toward sustainable growth.Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making related to investments, cost control, and other operational initiatives.Evaluate and propose financial strategies for new projects, acquisitions, and capital expenditures.Team Leadership and Development:Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals across multiple units, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.Ensure ongoing training and development of the finance team to enhance skills and capabilities.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).CA, MBA (Finance)Experience:Minimum 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or controller capacity.Proven experience managing finance functions for multiple units or entities in a complex, multi-location environment.Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.Skills:Expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and accounting principles.Advanced proficiency with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.Personal Attributes:Highly analytical with a keen attention to detail.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.Proactive and results-driven with a hands-on approach to management.
