Role & responsibilities AREA MANAGER ( NORTH/SOUTH)1. Educational Qualification : Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance or a related field.2. Professional Qualification : MBA/PGDM in Sales and Marketing or Finance. 3. 7 + years of experience in sales, marketing or business development preferably in chit funds, NBFCs or financial services.Key Responsibilities:1. Business Development:Develop strategies to increase customer acquisition and revenue growth.Identify potential markets, prospects, and new business opportunities.Ensure monthly/quarterly/half yearly/yearly sales targets for subscriptions are achieved.2. Operational Management:Supervise branch operations and monitor day-to-day activities.Ensure smooth execution of chit auctions.Implement and monitor adherence to company policies and processes.3. Team Management:Recruit, train, and manage branch managers, sales teams, and direct/collection agents.Set targets, evaluate performance, and motivate teams to achieve goals.Conduct regular team and Agent meetings to address challenges and provide updates.4. Recovery and Collections:Oversee collection activities to minimize defaults and recover outstanding dues.Collaborate with recovery teams to handle defaulters effectively.Maintain healthy collection efficiency ratios.5. Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure retention.Address and resolve customer complaints and grievances promptly.Educate customers about chit schemes, processes, and benefits.6. Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Accountant with expertise in bank reconciliation and chit fund accounting. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate reconciliation of chit fund payments and disbursements, and maintaining compliance with chit fund regulations.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.1+ years of experience in bank reconciliation and accounting, preferably in the chit fund industry.Proficiency in Tally, chit fund software and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).Strong understanding of chit fund operations, auction processes, and compliance.Thorough Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other financial regulations applicable to chit funds.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to handle financial discrepancies.Key Responsibilities:Bank Reconciliation & Financial Transactions:Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple chit fund accounts.Verify member payments, auction payments, and dividends, ensuring proper recording in ledgers.Monitor electronic fund transfers (NEFT, RTGS, UPI, and IMPS) and resolve payment discrepancies.Ensure timely deposit of collections and track outstanding payments from subscribers.Chit Fund Accounting & Compliance:Maintain accurate records of chit collections, payouts, and penalties.Reconcile prized and non-prized subscriber accounts.Handle interest calculations, penalties, and service charges for chit subscribers.Ensure compliance with Chit Funds Act, GST, TDS, and other financial regulations.Assist in audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting for chit fund operations.Financial Reporting & Support:Prepare cash flow reports, outstanding dues reports, and auction-related statements.Work closely with the chit manager and branch executives to track auction payments.Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.Coordinate with banks and internal teams to resolve any banking or accounting issues.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts.Good communication skills for interacting with subscribers, agents, and banks.
