This opportunity is geared for someone with the right attitude and the goal of becoming a rockstar banker in the Indian start-up ecosystem.Job Description – Analyst Position | Location – Bangalore/MumbaiType: 3 month probation, leading to a full time analyst roleResponsibilities:Investment Analysis: Support the due diligence process to evaluate investment opportunities, analyse business plans and financial statements, interact with founders and industry experts, and present comprehensive investment theses.Sector Insights: Map and prioritize various business models within our focus sectors, keep track of key developments, and identify potential investment opportunities.Transaction Execution: Work on live transactions with senior management, handle client interactions independently, and collaborate with founding teams.Transaction Collaterals: Prepare pitch books, industry overviews, detailed company profiles, management biographies, and financial models.Transaction Analysis: Conduct comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, industry research, and M&A screening.Investor Relationships: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with the investor community, showcasing relevant opportunities.Education & Prior Experience:MBA/Masters degree in finance or economics or entrepreneurship from a reputed institute / Chartered Accountant / CFA or equivalent certifications.0-2 years of work experience, with a preference for those with prior experience in the startup ecosystem.Skills Required:A strong interest in investment banking and strategic advisory.Solid academic background and financial knowledge (accounting, corporate finance, company valuation).Strong analytical skills with the ability to present business models effectively.A technical mindset with an awareness of technology innovations and business models.An entrepreneurial spirit, capable of contributing ideas and working autonomously in a small team.Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.Ability to work under pressure and manage shifting priorities.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with keen attention to detail.If you're looking to be part of a dynamic team where you can grow and make a significant impact, we would love to hear from you!
