Raw Water Pump House Operator

Job Description

Operate and monitor raw water pumps and motors as per standard procedures. Check water levels, flow rates, suction/discharge pressures, and motor parameters. Start and stop pumps based on operational demand or instructions from the control room. Inspect pipelines, valves, and equipment for leaks, vibrations, or abnormal sounds. Maintain records of daily readings, operational status, and field observations. Communicate with the control room and report any irregularities or issues immediately. Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the pump house area. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Support plant operations during normal and emergency conditions. Show more Show less
