React Engineer

Job Description

Core Responsibilities • Hands-on Development: Build and maintain robust, scalable, and performant web applications using React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to shape and implement features. • Full Lifecycle Participation: From planning and design to testing, deployment, and oncall support. • System Integration: Define and implement API integration and maintain architectural consistency with backend services. • Performance & Accessibility: Ensure high performance, WCAG-compliant accessibility, and seamless UX across devices/browsers. • Documentation: Create technical documentation and contribute to system design proposals. Skills & Experience • React Ecosystem Mastery: Deep knowledge of React, TypeScript, Yarn, and componentbased architecture. • Design Systems: Experience building component libraries with Storybook. • Version Control & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, and publishing NPM packages. • Testing Culture: Familiarity with automated unit and E2E testing using Jest and React Testing Library. • Accessibility & Standards: Expertise in HTML5/CSS3, responsive design, and accessibility (WCAG) compliance. • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills to articulate and document complex frontend architecture. Additional Considerations • Must be willing to participate in on-call rotation, suggesting some ownership of production systems and responsiveness to incidents. • Familiarity implementing Module Federation in Webpack 5 to support micro-frontend architectures, enabling independent deployment and scaling of frontend modules
