Realtime Automation is looking for a highly skilled PLC and SCADA Engineer with a strong electrical background to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Rockwell Automation PLC and SCADA software and have extensive experience in communication with protection relays and multifunction meters. The role requires frequent travel to Hydropower Projects in remote locations across India and Nepal.Key Responsibilities:Develop, program, and troubleshoot Rockwell Automation PLC and SCADA systems.Establish communication with protection relays, multifunction meters, and other field devices.Conduct on-site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting for automation systems in hydropower plants.Provide technical support and training to clients on SCADA and PLC systems.Collaborate with the engineering team to design, implement, and optimize automation solutions.Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Document system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and project reports.Use AutoCAD drawings for electrical schematics and project designs.Commission hydropower plants, ensuring proper system integration and performance.Perform electrical panel wiring and ensure proper connections in automation and control systems.Have a strong understanding of Control-Protection Panels and Medium Voltage electrical panels.Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at panel builder factories to ensure quality compliance.Required Skills & Qualifications:Educational Background: Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.Experience: 2-5 years in PLC programming, SCADA development, and industrial automation.Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation PLCs & SCADA systems.Device Communication: Strong knowledge of protection relays, multifunction meters, and industrial communication protocols.Field Experience: Willingness to travel and work in remote hydropower sites across India and Nepal.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex automation system issues.AutoCAD Proficiency: Ability to read, modify, and create electrical drawings.Electrical Panel Wiring & Testing: Knowledge of wiring practices and electrical panel troubleshooting.Control & Protection Panels: Good understanding of Medium Voltage and Protection Panels.FAT Experience: Ability to perform Factory Acceptance Testing at panel builder factories.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work on cutting-edge automation projects in the hydropower sector.Hands-on experience with leading automation technologies.Competitive salary + attractive site visit incentives.Exposure to international projects and cross-border work experience.
